Main Event Background And Stakes

The evening is topped by a Texas Death Match for the AEW World Championship between champion MJF and former titleholder “Hangman” Adam Page. The rivalry between the two is long-running; their histories are tied to the promotion’s build. Page’s past includes a failed bid to become the inaugural AEW World Champion at All Out 2019, a title victory over Kenny Omega at Full Gear 2021, and a later AEW World Title win over Jon Moxley in a Texas Death Match at All In Texas.

Recent title movement has kept the AEW World Championship in prominent storylines. MJF captured the title at Worlds End in December 2025 and has made multiple defenses since. Their match at Revolution adds a hard stipulation in Texas Death format, which figures to be a decisive environment given Page’s previous success in similar matches and MJF’s role in elevating the title since his win.

With ten matches on the PPV, three on Zero Hour and eight championships at stake across the night, Revolution is positioned as a high-stakes card for the promotion. Fans in Los Angeles and viewers tuning in from elsewhere will see the evening resolve several major rivalries and championship questions, with the full card set to unfold beginning at 7: 00 pm ET for Zero Hour and 8: 00 pm ET for the main show.
