Another La Masia product, Xavi Espart got his first few minutes as an FC Barcelona player when he was introduced towards the end of the match, replacing Araujo. Born on May 21 2007, Xavi Espart joined the club in summer 2015 from UE Vilassar de Mar at the U-10 level. He progressed through the youth system at La Masia and established himself as a Barça Atlètic player last season. He was also a key player for the U-19s that won the treble, serving as the fourth captain of the development side this season. His role as a right back demonstrated his versatility and leadership.
