Green Holds Slender Lead Into Final Nine Holes

Hannah Green is 11 under after nine holes at Kooyonga and holds a two-shot lead as she plays the final nine holes on Sunday. She is two strokes clear of Agathe Laisne from France, while Magdalena Simmermacher of Argentina sits third at eight under.

Green began the day with a one-shot buffer from Simmermacher. Simmermacher briefly drew level with Green but then dropped back after two bogeys in three holes. Green reclaimed momentum by sinking a 25-foot putt on the par-4 fifth and added a birdie at the par-5 ninth; she is two under through nine holes on Sunday.

Fellow Australian Cassie Porter is mounting a late charge in the final round. Porter teed off at even par and has recorded seven birdies in a 10-hole stretch, reaching seven under with seven holes remaining for her tournament. Other local players in contention include Karis Davidson at six under and Kelsey Bennett at four under.

Notable movement elsewhere includes Minjee Lee, who signed for a one-under 71 to finish at three over for the tournament, and Grace Kim, who is five under through 16 holes but stands at three under overall and out of contention. The event remains co-sanctioned between the LET and the WPGA Tour of Australasia.

Green will carry her two-shot advantage into the closing holes at Kooyonga as the final day progresses.
