Savannah Bananas Are at Caesars Superdome RIGHT NOW — Tonight's Game Is Game 1 of Two in New Orleans
The Savannah Bananas take on the Party Animals this weekend in New Orleans — Banana Ball has come to the Caesars Superdome, March 14 and 15. Tonight's first game started at 6 p.m. CT. Sunday's finale goes at 3 p.m. CT. If you're in New Orleans for St. Patrick's Day weekend, this is the show.
What Banana Ball Actually Is
Banana Ball has become the fastest and most entertaining game in sports. With its fast-paced rules and emphasis on continuous play, it strips away the lulls and lengthy pauses typical of traditional baseball — delivering a high-octane, entertainment-packed game that keeps both players and fans on their toes. Banana Ball has 11 unique rules.
The most famous of those rules: if a fan catches a foul ball, it counts as an out. Suddenly the crowd isn't just watching — they're playing defense.
The Bananas are a wildly popular baseball team focused on entertainment. Teammates go viral regularly for synchronized choreography, Taylor Swift karaoke, and athletically hilarious matchups. The team tours the country and regularly sells out NFL stadiums, which is exactly how they ended up at the Superdome this weekend.
The Biggest Banana Ball Tour in History
The 2026 tour plays in 14 major league parks and 10 football stadiums, including two NFL sites — the Superdome in New Orleans and Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots.
The league also added new "Primetime Coach" positions this season, manned by former major league players on new teams — Shane Victorino coaching Loco Beach and Ryan Howard coaching Indianapolis. "Getting the opportunity to coach a Banana Ball team that's paying tribute to the Negro Leagues? That's an honor, straight up," Howard said.
Team founder Jesse Cole put the growth in perspective. "To see the response from fans all across the country, I don't think anyone could have imagined this," he said, noting he sold only a handful of tickets when the Savannah Bananas were founded in 2016. A decade later, they're filling NFL stadiums.
Tickets, Prices, and the Lottery Warning
Standard tickets start at $35 with Meet and Greet tickets starting at $100. For MLB and large venue games, tickets start at $40 with Meet and Greet starting at $125. The Bananas sell tickets only through their official lottery at FansFirstTickets.com.
Any tickets found on StubHub, VividSeats, Ticketmaster, or social media platforms are either fraudulently priced or outright fake. The Bananas team has been clear: no player, coach, or staff member will ever sell tickets through social media. If someone is offering Superdome seats on Instagram or Facebook Marketplace, it is a scam.
Sunday's Game Is Still Ahead
Sunday's game at the Caesars Superdome tips off at 3 p.m. CT. Gates open approximately 90 minutes before first pitch. All bags are prohibited other than clear vinyl bags no larger than 12" x 12" x 6", gallon-size Ziploc bags, or small clutch purses no larger than 4.5" x 6.5". Pre-paid parking is available through JustPark.
The Savannah Bananas' next tour stops after New Orleans continue through the spring and summer, hitting cities across the country before the season wraps in October.
