Lincoln City Fc: Unbeaten run, goals and awards
The Imps continued a club record equalling unbeaten run through February, winning four and drawing one of their five games and scoring 19 goals in the process. Skubala has now won the Manager of the Month three times in 2025/26, having also picked up the award in September and January.
Reflecting on the month, Skubala said: “February was a great month for us and has put us into a good position, but we know there’s a lot of football still to be played and we need to work hard and maintain our high standards over the remaining games. As with any success this has been a real team effort. Every single person at the Gen 2 Energy Elite Performance Centre is focused on giving the players the best chance to perform to the best of their abilities. ”
Manager of the Month competition and nominees
Skubala was one of four nominees for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month for February. Tom Cleverley, Brian Barry-Murphy and Johnnie Jackson were also shortlisted. The judging panel for the award comprises Danny Wilson, Don Goodman and Ivor Davies, and the winner will be announced on Friday, 13 March.
