At Guinness Baltimore, crews are erecting an Irish Village on the lawn outside the brewery as events begin for st patrick’s day 2026. The brewery plans live music, special tastings and classes, and limited-edition beer releases that will stretch across the coming weeks.
Guinness Baltimore’s Irish Village and the March 12 (ET) dance class
Guinness Baltimore will host an Irish Village on the brewery lawn, offering live music and special tastings. The program includes a lesson on pouring the perfect pint of Guinness and a “Jigs and Swigs” Irish dance class scheduled for Thursday, March 12 (ET).
During the celebration, Guinness will expand its menu of traditional Irish dishes and offer limited-edition beer releases and brewery merchandise, creating a series of events tied to the season.
THB, Corner Pantry, and St Patrick’s Day 2026 specials around the city
THB plans to debut lucky green and orange bagels on March 14 (ET), with 50 cents from each bagel sold donated to the Maryland SPCA. Corner Pantry is marking the holiday with its drink of the month, a “lucky” mint matcha made with vanilla mint syrup and turmeric cold foam.
National chains are also rolling out limited items and promotions. Benihana will run a St. Patrick’s Day scratch-off promotion from March 14 through March 22, and Krispy Kreme is offering a free Green O’riginal Glazed Doughnut to customers who wear green in shop or through the drive-thru, plus a Golden Dozen Pass that runs from April 2026 through March 2027.
Charles Village promotion, Woodberry Kitchen’s Origins, and local openings
The Charles Village Community Benefits District is running a promotion from now through March 22 (ET) that enters anyone who makes a purchase or writes an online review for a participating Charles Village restaurant or shop into weekly drawings for $500 and a grand prize staycation worth $1500. Participating members include Blueprint Café, BoZ’s Burgers, Gertrude’s, Motzi Bread, Charm City Food Co., and Dear Charles at The Study at Johns Hopkins.
Woodberry Kitchen’s Origins discussion series resumes with an event on Wednesday, March 11 (ET), when Spike Gjerde and Tommy Shireman of Third Way Farm will discuss regenerative farming and soil health. That conversation is framed as part of a broader focus on ingredients and cultivation during the season.
Meanwhile, local restaurant developments are moving forward: La Cuchara’s rebuild remains underway and the team says the restaurant will open this year, and Seppia, an Italian restaurant taking over the old Five and Dime space in Hampden, is in the final stages of building and is slated to open in April. Brookside Market recently celebrated eight years in business, and Mindpub Café is listed for sale but not closing.
Spring menus are rolling out across the city, with new offerings arriving at Sally O’s, Midlina, and Kneads Bakeshop as restaurants test seasonal lineups. For st patrick’s day 2026, expect a mix of traditional Irish dishes, themed baked goods, and both neighborhood and national promotions timed to the mid-March holiday.
Back on the brewery lawn, Guinness Baltimore’s Irish Village will continue its slate of events through the season, with the “Jigs and Swigs” class on Thursday, March 12 (ET) standing out as the next confirmed attraction for visitors who come for live music, tastings, and holiday releases.
