Five Guys launched its original BOGO promotion on February 17 to mark its 40th anniversary. The overwhelming response left stores scrambling — the chain later apologized, admitting it wasn't ready for the massive turnout and that the promotion fell short of its usual standards.
CEO Jerry Murrell put it plainly: "We screwed the first one up so bad, we're trying to redo it. We got overwhelmed last week when we tried it. So we're going to try to get it right this time." The chain also announced it would distribute $1.5 million in bonuses to the employees who absorbed the chaos of that first rollout.

The deal is available online at FiveGuys.com or through the Five Guys app only. Sign into an existing account or create a free one, then apply code FGAFTERPARTY at checkout. One redemption per account. The offer is not valid for in-store orders. Taxes and delivery fees may apply at participating locations across the United States and Canada.
The offer expires at close of business Thursday. There is no extension announced and no indication Five Guys plans a third attempt. Tonight is it.
