The Washington Commanders have been making significant moves during this offseason to enhance their roster ahead of the upcoming NFL season. With free agency officially beginning on March 11th, the team has already reached agreements with multiple key players.

During the legal tampering period, the Commanders signed four external free agents, all focusing on strengthening their defense. This comes alongside the release of two players and extensions for two others already under contract.
New Defensive Signings
- K’Lavon Chaisson: Signed on early Wednesday, he adds edge rushing capabilities.
- Odafe Oweh: A 27-year-old linebacker with a reported 4-year, $100 million contract. He was previously a first-round pick, achieving 7.5 sacks in his last season.
