The 2026 NFL free agency legal tampering period wraps up Tuesday, March 10, with the new league year officially opening Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. ET. The salary cap jumped to $301.2 million — up from $279.2 million — and teams have spent every dollar of that new room aggressively. Here is every major signing and trade confirmed so far.

Quarterbacks: The Biggest Position Reshuffled in 48 Hours

Malik Willis is signing with the Miami Dolphins, Tua Tagovailoa is signing with the Atlanta Falcons, and Kyler Murray and Kirk Cousins are both set to be released at the start of the new league year Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. ET — meaning the quarterback market is far from finished.

The Titans are signing Mitchell Trubisky to a two-year deal to be Cam Ward's backup, while the Bills are signing Kyle Allen to a two-year contract worth up to $6.1 million as Josh Allen's backup once again.

Offensive Signings: Record Deals at Multiple Positions

The Colts re-signed wide receiver Alec Pierce to a four-year, $116 million contract — the most ever for a free-agent wide receiver — while Mike Evans agreed to a three-year, $60.4 million deal with the 49ers after 12 seasons in Tampa Bay.

The Raiders signed center Tyler Linderbaum to a three-year deal with $60 million guaranteed — making him the highest-paid interior offensive lineman in NFL history. The Titans are signing wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson to a four-year, $70 million deal, while the Bills locked up center Connor McGovern on a four-year, $52 million extension.

The Saints signed running back Travis Etienne in a homecoming deal, while the Broncos re-signed running back J.K. Dobbins to a two-year commitment after his 772-yard season ended with a foot injury. The Steelers signed Rico Dowdle, who has rushed for at least 1,000 yards in each of the last two seasons.

Defensive Signings: Jets, Ravens, and Commanders Splash Biggest

The Eagles signed Jordan Davis to a three-year, $78 million extension with $65 million guaranteed — making him the highest-paid nose tackle in NFL history. The Commanders signed linebacker Devin Lloyd to a four-year, $100 million deal, while the Jets signed edge rushers Joseph Ossai on three years, $36 million, and Kingsley Enagbare on one year, $10 million.

The Jets also acquired safety Minkah Fitzpatrick from the Dolphins for a seventh-round pick and signed him to a three-year, $40 million extension. Linebacker Demario Davis returned to the Jets on a two-year, $22 million deal with $15 million guaranteed.

The Bengals signed edge rusher Boye Mafe to a three-year, $60 million deal and safety Bryan Cook to a three-year, $42.5 million deal — simultaneously replacing Trey Hendrickson and their secondary needs in one aggressive afternoon. The Panthers signed quarterback Kenny Pickett to a one-year deal worth up to $7.5 million behind Jaelan Phillips on the defensive side.

Seahawks, Chiefs, and Packers Re-Signings

Travis Kelce is returning to the Chiefs for his 14th NFL season on a one-year deal worth up to $15 million — ending all retirement speculation. The Seahawks re-signed wide receiver Rashid Shaheed to a three-year, $51 million extension. The Titans signed John Franklin-Myers to a three-year, $63 million deal as new head coach Robert Saleh reunites with his former Jets defensive lineman.

The Chiefs also signed defensive tackle Khyiris Tonga to a three-year deal worth $21 million, while the Cardinals are signing guard Isaac Seumalo to three years, $31.5 million and wide receiver Kendrick Bourne to a two-year, $12 million deal.

All deals officially close Wednesday, March 11, at 4:00 p.m. ET when the new NFL league year begins — and the Kyler Murray sweepstakes officially open for business.
