Donald Glover Cast as Yoshi in Super Mario Galaxy Movie
Excitement is building for the upcoming animated sequel, “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie,” set to enthrall fans once again. Donald Glover joins the cast as the beloved green dinosaur, Yoshi. This announcement was made by Chris Meledandri, CEO of Illumination, during a Nintendo Direct livestream.

Plot Overview
Following the defeat of Bowser in the previous installment, Mario, Luigi, and Peach embark on a new adventure. This time, they face off against both Bowser and his son in an outer space setting. The heroes will travel through various unique planets, including:
- A fiery volcano world
- An underwater planet
- A high-tech realm with neon, gravity-defying obstacles
In this sequel, Yoshi will team up with Rosalina to tackle new challenges. The heroes will also confront new enemies, such as Wart and Honey Queen, along with the fan-favorite, Birdo.
