Aniplex, tri-Ace, and Lasengle Launch PvP Social Deduction Game OCTOPinbs for PC

Aniplex, alongside developers tri-Ace and Lasengle, has unveiled a new multiplayer online social deduction game titled OCTOPinbs. Designed for three to ten players, this game features a unique firefighters-versus-arsonists theme. It is set to launch on PC via Steam in spring 2024, supporting multiple languages including English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.

About OCTOPinbs

OCTOPinbs challenges players to engage in a battle between firefighters (represented as octopuses) and arsonists (depicted as squids). Each player is randomly assigned to one of these roles at the start of each match. The objective is to outsmart the opposing team and fulfill specific victory conditions.

Gameplay Mechanics

The game features a variety of exciting mechanics:

Combat Strategies: Firefighters must extinguish flames, while arsonists attempt to escalate the fire.
Incineration Goals: Firefighters win by reducing the fire to zero percent or capturing all arsonists in Octojars.
Revival System: Players can lose health from attacks or fire; when health reaches zero, they must revive by accessing a fire truck.

Identity Reveal: Suspected players can be captured in Octojars, revealing if they are firefighters or arsonists, with stakes for both sides.
Special Abilities: Arsonists can reveal their identities to gain enhanced skills and improved mobility, adding a strategic layer to gameplay.
