Five Guys Bogo returns for 40th After Party after Feb. 17 surge

Five Guys has relaunched a limited-time buy-one-get-one burger promotion as its “40th After Party, ” running March 9 through March 12, 2026. The move follows the chain’s Feb. 17 40th birthday offer, when overwhelming demand left some restaurants unprepared and customers struggled to redeem the five guys bogo online.

The relaunch begins today, March 9, and continues through Thursday, March 12, with the company positioning it as a do-over after it said it did not meet its own standards during the earlier promotion. Five Guys said teams spent the lead-up replenishing fresh product and making preparations it should have made for the Feb. 17 event.

Jerry Murrell cites Feb. 17 demand and store crews under pressure

Five Guys Founder Jerry Murrell said the company was “genuinely humbled” by the response to the birthday offer and linked the after-party promotion to that surge. Five Guys also said store crews faced an “incredibly difficult position” during the Feb. 17 rush, and it plans to distribute approximately $1. 5 million in bonuses to store employees across its system as a thank you.

FGAFTERPARTY code applies to online orders in the U. S. and Canada

Customers can join the promotion by ordering online through FiveGuys. com or the Five Guys app, then signing into an existing account or creating a free one to redeem. The offer requires purchasing any burger at regular menu price to receive one free burger of equal or lesser value using the code FGAFTERPARTY; it is limited to one redemption per reward code, with taxes and delivery or other fees potentially applying. Five Guys said the five guys bogo offer is valid only at participating locations in the United States and Canada and is not valid for in-store orders.

The next confirmed milestone is the end of the 40th After Party on Thursday, March 12, 2026, when the online-only redemption window for the FGAFTERPARTY code closes at participating Five Guys locations in the United States and Canada.
