Shuttle buses will run to and from Herrington Country Park from three official transport hubs: Park Lane Interchange in Sunderland, Heworth Metro station and the Park & Ride at Belmont in Durham. Regional coach return journeys are available from 23 locations across the North East Combined Authority and the Tees Valley Combined Authority region, with pre-booking required for those services.
Introducing Acts: Max Jones, Sorley and Ellie Scougall to Perform
Local musicians chosen for the Introducing stage include Max Jones, Sorley and Imogen and the Knife, with Newcastle-born Ellie Scougall among recommended North East acts. Ellie Scougall, aged 22, discovered electronic dance music at 13 and runs a podcast called Inside the USB; she has supported artists such as Gorgon City and D. O. D. Sorley started the hometown club night HAZE and has performed alongside Nic Fanciulli, Heidi and Deetron, Patrick Topping, Solardo, Dense & Pika and Roger Sanchez, while Max Jones blends tech house and techno with underground textures.
