The three-day event is scheduled for Herrington Country Park from May 22 to May 24, 2026, and the first day will use all of the festival’s stages to host what Radio 1 has called a “huge dance party. ” Sunderland last hosted this festival in May 2005, when artists such as Gwen Stefani, Foo Fighters and the Black Eyed Peas appeared on the bill.
