Beirut Hotel Strike Kills Civilians, Displaces Hundreds of Thousands, Challenges Lebanon

The IDF confirmed it carried out a targeted strike against key commanders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force’s Lebanon Corps operating in Beirut. In a military statement, the command said those commanders had been working to advance terror attacks against the State of Israel and its citizens from Lebanese territory.

IDF expands strikes on Hezbollah infrastructure and cites weapons transfers tied to Iran

Earlier on Saturday, the IDF announced it had begun a new wave of strikes against Hezbollah infrastructure in Beirut and said it had destroyed the rocket launcher used to target northern Israel. The military further revealed that during strikes against Iran’s regime in Tehran, it targeted 16 aircraft belonging to the IRGC Quds Force that were being used to transfer weapons to Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Benjamin Netanyahu warns Lebanese government of consequences if Hezbollah is not disarmed

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned the Lebanese government in a Saturday address of “disastrous consequences” should it fail to enforce the ceasefire agreement and disarm Hezbollah. He reiterated that Lebanon bears responsibility to enforce the agreement and remove armed groups that threaten Israel from its territory.

If the Lebanese government enforces the ceasefire agreement and disarms Hezbollah, Netanyahu said it could avert the disastrous consequences he warned about.
