The puppies, all Pomeranians, were introduced to her family during the festive season. Kardashian originally presented her children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm—with the puppies and shared the moment on social media. The puppies include:

However, the decision to gift puppies has not come without criticism. Ingrid Newkirk, founder of PETA, expressed disapproval, stating that “puppies are not plushies.” She urged the Kardashian family to consider adopting pets from shelters instead.
Newkirk suggested that Kim and her sister Khloé, who also presented a puppy as a gift, could benefit from volunteering at local shelters. She emphasized the importance of addressing the issue of pet homelessness.
