Davis’s current contract includes the fifth-year option, which is valued at just under $13 million. Altogether, Davis will be with the Eagles for four years at nearly $91 million.

Davis’s Performance History

Drafted as the 13th overall pick in 2022, Davis initially struggled in his first three seasons. In 2024, he logged just 445 snaps, averaging 21.2 snaps per game, ranking fourth among Eagles’ interior defensive linemen:

  • Jalen Carter: 1,068 snaps
  • Milton Williams: 654 snaps
  • Moro Ojomo: 490 snaps
  • Jordan Davis: 445 snaps
  • Thomas Booker: 177 snaps

During the 2024 regular season, Davis recorded 27 tackles, one sack, and two batted passes. His lower performance output was attributed to conditioning issues. However, after a strong playoff showing with six tackles and two sacks, the Eagles exercised his fifth-year option, a decision that proved wise.

Davis’s Resurgence in 2025

In 2025, Davis demonstrated noticeable improvement. He completed the regular season with 72 tackles, nine of which were for loss, and 4.5 sacks. He also had six batted passes. His performance included a pivotal play—a blocked kick against the Rams, which he turned into a touchdown. His 72 tackles placed him third among NFL interior defensive linemen:

Beyond his on-field achievements, Davis has also become a respected figure in the Eagles’ locker room, contributing positively to team dynamics.
