The accident occurred just before noon on Saturday when the snowmobile Jeffries was riding, alongside her mother, overturned. Following the incident, she suffered significant head injuries and was airlifted to a medical facility in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival.
