Mafs Reunion: Davide and Keye confront breakup as Abigail Chahwan and John Shepherd take next step
The Married At First Sight reunion this Sunday arrives with starkly different scenes: a tearful Davide Anica facing ex-husband Keye Luke as they unpack a public split, and Abigail Chahwan and John Shepherd preparing to move in together. The mafs reunion airs Sunday, March 1 at 9pm (4pm ET).
Davide Anica and Keye Luke meet on the Mafs Reunion
The reunion special will bring Davide Anica and Keye Luke face to face after the difficult breakdown of their relationship. The same-sex couple, widely regarded as the strongest pair in this year’s series, had committed to each other at the season’s Final Vows ceremony. In a teaser for the episode Davide breaks down at the table and says, "I wasn't good for you or enough for you on the outside world, " and later, "I did everything I could to support Keye when he was at his lowest, it was a lot for me to carry. I can't carry him and myself. " The clip ends with both men crying as one replies, "Yes you were... "
Keye Luke's Instagram admission and the Grindr confession
Keye, 33, publicly admitted on Instagram that their relationship crumbled after he created a Grindr profile, calling it a mistake that "cost me my marriage. " He said he downloaded the app "in the early hours of a Sunday morning, while Davide was on a flight, " and insisted he was "not looking to cheat, hook up, or find someone else. " He added that he was "in a dark and fragile place" and that reaching for the app was an unhealthy way to cope. Keye also acknowledged there was no excuse for his actions and took accountability for causing the marriage to break down.
Davide's response and a soft launch of a new relationship
Davide — who works as a flight attendant — has appeared to move on publicly in recent weeks. A few weeks after Keye's admission, Davide posted an Instagram video that seemed to soft-launch a new boyfriend, showing the pair cosy up together in a jacuzzi. The build-up to the reunion frames a tense conversation about how they "became different people once we came out" and why the relationship "ended badly, " as Davide says during the special.
Abigail Chahwan and John Shepherd preparing to live together after the show
Abigail Chahwan and John Shepherd, who met on Married at First Sight UK, are taking the next steps in their relationship. The season finale of the 10th edition aired in November 2025, and the cast returns for a reunion episode on Sunday, March 1 at 9pm (4pm ET). Since appearing, Abi returned to her job as a veterinary nurse in Bournemouth while John headed back to Flintshire to run his own marketing and social media business. The pair previously said they would soon move in together; John will move down to Bournemouth to live with his bride.
Plans, quotes and a first anniversary holiday
On the move, John said: "Home will always be home and I've moved away from North Wales before and the more I move away the more I kind of like fall in love with North Wales so yeah it will always be there, family will always be there so yeah nothing but excitement really moving down to Bournemouth. I feel like I've just been waiting to move down for the last few months and like life hasn't really gone anywhere until like we actually move in together. " Abi added: "I think it's happening at the right time. I wish it happened sooner, but we just had to kind of make those provisions to get everything all sorted. But it's the next step really for our relationship. So we're both really excited to progress and move forward. "
