Iran Strikes Continue: Kuwait Intercepts Drones
On Monday, Kuwait’s air defenses intercepted hostile drones, marking the third consecutive day of Iranian retaliatory actions against neighboring Gulf states. These strikes are a response to recent US and Israeli military operations targeting Iran.
In the early hours of Monday, loud explosions were noted in Dubai and Doha, as reported by witnesses. Additional reports indicated similar sounds in Kuwait earlier that day. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries after most drones were intercepted in the districts of Rumaithiya and Salwa, as stated by the civil defense director-general via the state news agency.
Regional Tensions Rise
Tehran has vowed to target US bases in the region following the strikes carried out by the US and Israel on Saturday. The conflict has increasingly impacted civilian areas and commercial zones across Gulf cities, contributing to growing concerns about the safety of regional aviation and trade hubs.
