Connor Storrie returned to the red carpet at the 2026 Actor Awards in Los Angeles on March 1, arriving less than 24 hours after hosting Saturday Night Live and drawing attention for a sharp Saint Laurent suit paired with a Tiffany & Co. diamond choker. The black suit was from Saint Laurent, and he is now an ambassador for the brand. Accessories grounded the outfit: little silver hoop earrings, a kinky diamond choker from Tiffany & Co., and a diamond-studded watch completed the ensemble.
Less than 24 hours after hosting SNL
Connor Storrie arrived at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall the day after his first time hosting Saturday Night Live. While crossing the red carpet he was asked how much sleep he had gotten; the 26-year-old quipped that he had gotten "barely any. " His SNL episode aired on Feb. 28 and included a self-aware opening monologue that referenced his work on Heated Rivalry and involved inviting athletes from Team USA’s men’s and women’s hockey teams onstage.

On the Feb. 28 episode Storrie said he had to learn how to speak Russian and look like he knew how to play hockey for his role on Heated Rivalry, then watched the Olympics and felt he had not quite pulled it off. Shortly into the episode, men's hockey stars Jack Hughes and Quinn Hughes joined him onstage along with women's teammates Megan Keller and Hilary Knight. Hilary joked that it was originally going to be just the women's team and referenced President Donald Trump laughing about inviting the women’s team to the White House; Megan added that they thought they would give the guys a little moment to shine.
Presenter duties and awards-season activity
Storrie was not a nominee at the Actor Awards on March 1 but was onstage as a presenter. He previously presented at the Golden Globes alongside his Heated Rivalry costar Hudson Williams. Earlier in the season, on January 7, he announced the Actor Awards nominations at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s screening room in Los Angeles alongside Janelle James.
Where Heated Rivalry fits in awards eligibility
Heated Rivalry was not nominated during the 2026 awards season because the series was not submitted for consideration. The show was produced and financed solely by the Canadian company Crave, which made it a foreign production for awards purposes; for U. S. awards eligibility a series must have been coproduced with a U. S. partner. HBO Max acted as the U. S. distributor only after production was finished. It is expected that future seasons may change to a coproduction structure to allow for U. S. awards eligibility.
