Details of the Accident
The Colorado State Patrol reported that Ponder died in a single-car accident in Boulder County around 3 a.m. The driver reportedly lost control of a 2023 Tesla while navigating a curve on Baseline Road. The vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic, crashed through a guardrail, struck an electrical pole, and rolled over before coming to a stop. Ponder was pronounced dead at the scene.
