" "We knew they were going to come out... a lot of really high-end talented players on that team. Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said, "Well, we weren't ready to play. Listen, I've said it, the coach has to prepare your team to play, but like this one, the players weren't ready to play. They're professionals. They've got to be ready to go, and we weren't nearly good enough. " The Capitals are listed at 31-23-7 and have won three straight and six of seven. The Golden Knights are listed at 28-17-14 and had been winners in three straight before this loss.
