Production designer Alison Gartshore created a fundraising page in his honor to help support his family after the tragedy back in May 2025. Gartshore wrote that “Nick Braimbridge was a hugely talented Scenic Artist, who very sadly passed away last week, ” and described him as an expert faux finisher known for exquisite marbling and wood grain finishes, skills built up over years with top-end interior designers and later within film and television.

Gartshore added that she had worked closely with Braimbridge, calling him an integral part of the Art department team and “a delightful, charming, funny man – a true gent. ” She said everyone who met him loved him, that the team were very upset by his passing, and that he will be greatly missed. Gartshore went on to note that very tragically, he lost his wife to cancer just before Christmas this year, and that he now leaves behind two daughters, Flora and Amelia, who are both still teenagers. The fundraising page aims to support those daughters and is still active.

Tony Cooper’s work as a unit driver and other credits

Tony Cooper served as a unit driver, transporting cast, crew, equipment and more around the set to various filming locations. He also worked as a driver on the Queen Charlotte spinoff. Cooper’s other credits as a cast driver include The Crown, The Batman, Spider-Man: Far From Home and Black Widow, among others, reflecting a long career moving people and gear between locations.
