Metallica Confirms Sphere Residency with ‘Life Burns Faster’ Concert Series
The Las Vegas Sphere is set to host Metallica for their groundbreaking residency, titled “Life Burns Faster.” This event marks a significant milestone as Metallica will be the first hard rock band to perform at the innovative venue, known for its stunning visual displays.

Metallica’s residency will feature an initial schedule of eight performances. The concert dates are:

No Repeat Weekends
Continuing their tradition established during the M72 World Tour, Metallica will host No Repeat Weekends. This means that no songs will be repeated on Thursdays and Saturdays throughout the residency. Fans can expect a mix of their classic hits and surprise tracks from the band’s extensive catalog.

Ticket registration is currently open at Filmogaz.com. Tickets for both two-night No Repeat Weekends and single-night shows will go on sale on March 6 at 1 p.m. ET.
Band’s Vision
The iconic band, consisting of James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo, has been preparing for this residency for years. Lars Ulrich expressed excitement about the potential for innovation in live performances. He recalled the opening night with U2 in early 2023, feeling an urge to seize the opportunity presented by the Sphere.
He mentioned, “This residency gives us another chance to reinvent how we interact with our fans in a live setting. We are beyond excited to share this with the world in six months’ time.”
