Tragic Highway Crash Claims Lives of Two Alberta High School Students
Two tragic fatalities occurred on Monday evening involving female students from Harry Collinge High School in Hinton, Alberta. The incident happened on Highway 16 at approximately 7:15 p.m., a few kilometers east of Jasper.

According to Jasper RCMP, the collision involved a pickup truck and a semi-truck. The driver, a 17-year-old girl, and her 18-year-old passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene. The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation, but officials believe that road conditions may have played a role.
