Jordan James Parke death details
Metropolitan Police officers say they were called by the London Ambulance Service after reports of an unconscious 34-year-old man on Lincoln Plaza, Canary Wharf. Medical personnel declared Parke dead once they arrived on the scene. Police have said they are reviewing information that suggests the victim may have been undergoing a cosmetic procedure prior to his death, and the cause of death remains unknown as the inquiry continues.
How police were alerted
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the callout by the London Ambulance Service and described the death as "currently being treated as unexplained. " Following their initial inquiries, two arrests were made on suspicion of manslaughter: a 43-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman, both arrested on Friday, February 20 and later granted bail pending further investigation. The force has said that inquiries will continue.
Previous BBL investigation
The death of Parke drew renewed attention to an earlier inquiry into the death of Alice Webb, a 33-year-old mother of five who became unwell after a non-surgical Brazilian butt lift and died hours later at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on 24 September 2024. Gloucestershire Police had been investigating Webb's death. Parke had been arrested in 2024 on suspicion of manslaughter in relation to Webb's death but was not charged and was released on police bail. A woman was also arrested in connection with Webb's death but was released and faced no further action.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Police said: "We have been informed the man who was on police bail died recently, and therefore the criminal investigation will close as no charges can be brought. Alice's family has been updated and we hope the inquest will enable Alice's family to have the answers they deserve. " The force said inquiries will continue on behalf of the coroner and that inquests into both deaths will take place.
Surgeries and public profile
Parke, a native of Dudley, England who called himself the "Lip King, " had said in a 2016 interview on a British daytime show that he "never hated" himself but that plastic surgery had become a "hobby" over time. He began his plastic surgery journey at age 19 and underwent dozens of procedures, listed in public accounts as including multiple nose jobs, filler in his neck, lips and jawline, a Brazilian butt lift, a chin implant and other operations. Parke had spent over $150, 000 on plastic surgery and had appeared on the show Botched twice to address lip filler and later liposuction and the appearance of his nose.
Family reaction and related notes
Parke's sister, Sharnelle, posted a tribute on social media saying the family is "numb, shocked and heartbroken. " In a fuller message she wrote: "Our beautiful, funny most amazing Jordan James Parke passed away on Wednesday the 18th of February 2026. We as a family are numb, shocked and heartbroken. " She continued: "Jordan I have no words to explain the sadness and heartbreak that we are feeling you were our bestfriend … our WHOLE WORLD … our everything! we love you more than anything in the world!! There are simply no words to express how grateful that we had you in our lives. The world feels so empty without you …. And I don’t know how we are going to carry on 😭. "
Officials have noted that Parke had been due to answer police bail in March. The earlier Gloucestershire inquiry into Alice Webb’s death described the non-surgical BBL procedure as one that involves injecting dermal filler into the buttocks; that inquiry said BBL treatments can be offered as surgical or non-surgical options, with surgical versions involving implants and/or moving fat from other body parts before injecting it into the buttocks.
