The National Weather Service said the region will see "occasional snow showers through Monday night, " with accumulations of up to 4 inches expected and even higher totals at the top of Great Smoky Mountains peaks. Forecasters said it will be very cold and windy and advised people to "Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes. "

Hazardous outlook across most of East Tennessee; Knoxville and Oak Ridge on schedule
