A strong advocate for charitable causes, Jill Douglas was awarded an MBE in the 2022 New Year Honours for her contributions. She became CEO of the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation in 2017, due to her close friendship with Doddie Weir, a Scottish rugby legend who passed away from Motor Neurone Disease in November 2022.
