Convicted Pedophile Assaults Young Girls, Grabs One by Throat
A convicted pedophile, Gurpreet Randhawa, assaulted several young girls, including two 15-year-olds he met online. He coerced these minors into meeting him, ultimately leading to horrific incidents of sexual violence.
Details of the Assaults
Randhawa perpetrated multiple rapes against one of the 15-year-old girls between August and September of last year. On the final occasion, he drove her to a car park in Wolverhampton and committed the act in the back of his vehicle. When the girl attempted to resist, he forcefully grabbed her by the throat.
Thanks to her bravery, the victim reported the crime to her school, which subsequently notified the police. Authorities quickly identified Randhawa, who is often called Ziggy, arresting him on the same day.
Involvement with Other Victims
Investigations uncovered that Randhawa had used various aliases and had engaged in inappropriate online interactions with a 12-year-old girl. His communications included sexualized conversations and threats to harm her if she did not comply with his demands.

- Encouraged the 12-year-old to involve her friends in indecent acts.
- Engaged in drug use alongside the young girl, creating an environment of exploitation.
Conviction and Sentencing
Gurpreet Randhawa pleaded guilty to several serious charges. The offenses included:
- Four counts of rape.
- Two counts of taking indecent images of a child.
- Two counts of sharing indecent images.
- Engaging in sexual communication with a minor.
These crimes occurred over a period extending from July 2024 to September 2025. At Wolverhampton Crown Court, he received an 18-year prison sentence on February 12th.

Detective Constable Mark Tallis, part of the West Midlands Police’s public protection unit, remarked on the significance of the victims’ courage. Their willingness to report the assaults led to the conviction of Randhawa, removing a dangerous individual from the streets.
