Director Unveils Pokemon Pokopia’s Completion Time; Post-Credits Activities Await
Pokemon Pokopia is set to launch on March 5, 2024. This much-anticipated game is often referred to as the “Animal Crossing of Pokemon.” Although details have been officially scarce, director Takuto Edagawa recently provided insights into the game’s completion time and post-credits activities in an interview with IGN.
Completion Time and Main Campaign
In the interview, Edagawa confirmed that Pokemon Pokopia includes a main campaign. Players can expect to complete this campaign in approximately 20 to 40 hours. However, he emphasized that the completion time may vary based on individual play styles and preferences.
Player Experience
The primary aim of Pokemon Pokopia is not necessarily to reach the end credits. As Edagawa noted, the focus is on exploring the world with Pokemon and creating a unique living experience. He stated:
- “The whole concept is to create the world with Pokemon and live with the Pokemon.”
- Post-credits content will also be available, encouraging players to continue their adventures.
- Edagawa remarked that “there’s more things to experience after the end roll.”
Upcoming Events and Pre-orders
As the launch draws nearer, more information about the game is expected to become available. A playable demo of Pokemon Pokopia will be presented at the European championship, scheduled for February 13-15, 2024.
