Super Bowl Trailer Unveils ‘Minions & Monsters’

The latest trailer for the highly anticipated animated film, Minions & Monsters, was recently unveiled during the Super Bowl LX. This marks the third installment in the popular Minions franchise, originally set to debut on June 30, 2027, but has now been rescheduled for July 1, 2026. This release date coincides with that of Shrek 5, which is scheduled for December 23, 2026.

Trailer Highlights

The trailer provides the first glimpse into the storyline of Minions & Monsters. In a particularly humorous scene, a Minion runs up to the camera and dramatically passes out from exhaustion. The clip hints at a meta-narrative where the Minions participate in a movie, getting a little too involved during a battle scene by acting out their aggression toward the actor warriors.
