Japanese Fans Celebrate New Ganbare Goemon Collection; Global Fans Envious
Japanese fans are buzzing with excitement following the announcement of a new collection dedicated to the iconic Ganbare Goemon series. This collection, titled Ganbare Goemon! Daishuugou, showcases a range of beloved games spanning several Nintendo platforms.
Ganbare Goemon Collection Details
Konami revealed this exciting collection during the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase. The release date is set for July 2, 2026, and it will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The collection comprises 13 titles, featuring both popular and lesser-known entries.

Limited Western Releases
Out of the 13 titles, only three have been released outside Japan. These include:
- Ganbare Goemon: Yukihime Kyuushutsu Emaki, known in the West as The Legend of the Mystical Ninja.
- Ganbare Goemon: Sarawareta Ebisumaru!, featured in the European Konami GB Collection Vol. 3.
- Ganbare Goemon: Kurofune Tō no Nazo, released in North America as Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon.
Given that most of these games were never localized, fans are unsure if this collection will be available in the West. Nonetheless, there is hope that this announcement might pave the way for future releases of fan favorites like Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon for N64 and Goemon’s Great Adventure.
