Metrolinx confirmed that the flooding occurred due to extreme temperatures affecting the sprinkler system. Fortunately, they reported that the damaged pipe has been repaired and cleanup efforts are complete.

Operational Details
Line 5 offers a comprehensive service with specific hours:
- Monday to Saturday: 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Sunday: 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
During peak hours, light rail vehicles will arrive every four minutes, while off-peak service will run every six to eight minutes. The line covers 19 kilometers, featuring 25 stops from Mount Dennis in the west to Kennedy Station in Scarborough.
