Jets Interview Frank Reich for Offensive Coordinator Role

The New York Jets have taken a significant step in their search for a new offensive coordinator. They recently completed an in-person interview with Frank Reich, a seasoned coaching professional with extensive NFL experience.

About Frank Reich

Frank Reich, aged 64, is currently serving as a senior adviser at Stanford University. He briefly held the position of interim head coach for the Stanford Cardinal during the 2025 season. Under his leadership, the team achieved its highest win total since 2020.

NFL Coaching Experience

Reich’s coaching career spans over a decade in the NFL. His most recent role was as head coach of the Carolina Panthers in 2023. Prior to that, he spent five successful years as the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts from 2018 to 2022. During his tenure, the Colts recorded a regular season record of 40 wins, 33 losses, and 1 tie. Under Reich, the Colts also made playoff appearances in 2018 and 2020.

Notable Achievements

  • Super Bowl LII Champion: As the offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles from 2016 to 2017, Reich played a pivotal role in the team’s historic Super Bowl victory.
  • Previous Experience: He also served as the offensive coordinator for the San Diego Chargers from 2014 to 2015.
