Crunchyroll Announces Another Price Increase
Crunchyroll is implementing a price increase for its streaming services in the U.S. and select international regions. This marks the first adjustment to its lowest-priced tier since 2019.
Details of the Price Increase
- Fan Tier: Increased from $7.99/month to $9.99/month.
- Mega Fan Tier: Increased from $11.99/month to $13.99/month.
- Ultimate Fan Tier: Increased from $15.99/month to $17.99/month.
Subscribers will notice these new rates reflected in their billing cycle after March 4th. Existing subscribers will transition to the higher pricing on their next payment date.
New Features for Subscribers
Despite the price increases, Crunchyroll is enhancing the Fan Tier. Subscribers at this level can now download content for offline viewing on a single device. This feature was previously limited to the Mega Fan Tier.

The latest price adjustments align Crunchyroll with trends seen in other streaming services. Platforms such as HBO Max, Paramount Plus, and Disney Plus have experienced similar pricing changes in recent times.
