New Documents Reveal Email Exchanges Between Musk and Epstein About Visits

Newly released documents reveal a series of email exchanges between Elon Musk and Jeffrey Epstein from 2012 to 2014. The emails indicate that the two had friendly communications about potential meetings in Florida and the Caribbean.

Email Correspondences Between Musk and Epstein

The communication kicked off with Epstein inviting Musk to visit his private island on September 25, 2012. Epstein suggested Musk could “bring your friend or friends” for the visit. Musk responded positively, saying he would “try to make it.”

Musk’s Interest in Little Saint James

  • November 25, 2012: Musk inquired, “What day/night will be the wildest party on your island?” regarding Epstein’s Little Saint James in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
  • March 2013: In response to Musk’s travel schedule, Epstein discussed using a stimulant called Nuvigil, which is prescribed for narcolepsy.
  • December 2014: An email from Epstein included a calendar invitation titled, “ELON MUSK TO ISLAND DEC. 6TH.” It remains ambiguous whether Musk attended.

Coordination of Visits

The documents further reveal plans for Epstein to visit SpaceX’s headquarters in Hawthorne, California, in February 2013. Epstein expressed gratitude in a follow-up email for the tour he received.

Kimbal Musk, Elon’s brother, also communicated with Epstein, stating, “Great to hang out today” on October 7, 2012. However, Kimbal has not commented on these correspondences.

Cancellation of Plans

Despite the friendly interactions, Musk canceled planned meetings on various occasions. In January 2013, he informed Epstein that he had fallen ill and had to miss lunch in St. Barthélemy. The correspondence persisted even after Musk’s cancellations.

On December 13, 2013, Musk reached out to Epstein to arrange a visit during the holidays. Both men tentatively confirmed plans for January 2, 2014. However, Epstein later indicated he needed to stay in New York, expressing disappointment at not being able to meet in person.

These newly uncovered exchanges showcase the complexity of Musk’s relationship with Epstein, particularly as Musk has previously denied visiting Epstein’s island or maintaining friendly ties.
