The upcoming cinematic venture titled “The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event” is set to explore the iconic band’s story through the lens of each member. Directed by Sam Mendes, the series features four separate films that provide a unique narrative perspective.

Release and Distribution

The first look at the films was revealed through postcards distributed at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, which was co-founded by Paul McCartney. Sony Pictures is financing the films and will handle worldwide distribution. All four films are expected to be released with full theatrical windows in April 2028.

The scripts for the films are crafted by Jez Butterworth, Peter Straughan, and Jack Thorne. The unique storytelling will offer fans an in-depth look at the lives of these musical legends.
