Drake Maye, the quarterback for the New England Patriots, has been officially noted with a right shoulder injury. Although the team did not hold a practice session on Wednesday, they were required to issue a participation and injury report in advance of Super Bowl LX.

    • TE Hunter Henry (not injury related/rest)
    • LB Harold Landry III (knee)
    • T Morgan Moses (not injury related/rest)
    • T Thayer Munford Jr. (knee/illness)
    • LB Robert Spillane (ankle)
  • LIMITED PARTICIPATION:

    • QB Drake Maye (right shoulder)
  • FULL PARTICIPATION:
    • DT Joshua Farmer (hamstring)

Injury Details and Recovery

Maye sustained the injury while attempting a 13-yard scramble during the AFC Championship Game against the Denver Broncos. Despite the setback, he remained in the game and completed a notable 30-yard pass shortly after the injury. In an interview on “WEEI Afternoons,” Maye expressed confidence about his recovery, stating, “I’m feeling good. I got in some extra rest.”

He acknowledged the cumulative stress of the season, including intense training leading up to the Super Bowl. “Thirty weeks straight of throwing can add up,” he noted, but he assured fans he is ready for the upcoming game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Other Injury Notes and Team Preparations

LB Robert Spillane exited the same game with an ankle injury but was seen testing it on the sidelines. He had previously missed games due to a foot injury. Hill and Elijah Ponder have stepped in for the injured Harold Landry III.

The Patriots are preparing for Super Bowl LX with practices scheduled for Thursday and Friday, before heading to San Francisco. A send-off rally will take place on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. at Gillette Stadium. This event will feature a performance by the Dropkick Murphys, and attendees will hear remarks from Head Coach Mike Vrabel. Though the rally is free, tickets will be required on a first-come, first-served basis.

Meanwhile, the Seahawks have also released their injury report, indicating several players. Notably, T Amari Kight and LB Ernest Jones IV did not participate in practice.

With both teams facing injury challenges, the upcoming Super Bowl LX promises to be a compelling matchup.
