The league was founded by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Mike McCarley, who hinted that there may be opportunities for collaboration between men’s and women’s leagues in the future.

Korda concluded her comments by highlighting that participation in the TGL is still a great opportunity for the LPGA despite her concerns about gender inclusion. She stated, “I just think that it would have been even greater to have both of them together.”
