Timothy Busfield’s Allegations
On January 9, an arrest warrant was issued for Busfield in connection with alleged misconduct involving children on the set of Fox’s *The Cleaning Lady*. He subsequently surrendered to authorities in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The charges include two counts of criminal sexual contact with a minor and child abuse, following an investigation into incidents involving two male minors.
During his initial court appearance, a judge allowed Busfield to be released while he awaits trial. Despite facing these serious allegations, Busfield has maintained his innocence.

- Busfield is also accused of groping a teenage girl during an audition at B Street Theatre in Sacramento, California.
- Previously, he faced allegations from a 17-year-old extra on the set of the 1994 film *Little Big League*, which he directed; that case was settled.
- In 2012, another woman claimed he groped her on a date, but no charges were filed.

In light of the recent allegations, Busfield’s talent agency, Innovative Artists, has severed ties with him. Additionally, an episode of *Law & Order: SVU*, in which he guest stars, has been pulled from airing. His appearance in the upcoming rom-com, *You Deserve Each Other*, produced by Amazon MGM, has also been edited out.
