PS5 May Receive 60FPS Upgrades for Classic Assassin’s Creed Games
Ubisoft is reportedly focusing on the Assassin’s Creed franchise, following successful enhancements of its Far Cry games on PS5. According to insider Tom Henderson, new updates may bring 60FPS improvements to classic Assassin’s Creed titles.
Potential FPS Upgrades for Assassin’s Creed Games
During a recent podcast, Henderson discussed the possibility of Ubisoft updating older Assassin’s Creed games. He suggested that Assassin’s Creed Unity could be among the first to experience this enhancement.
Recent Improvements
Ubisoft has already rolled out 60FPS support for a few past Assassin’s Creed titles on PS5. Notable upgrades include:
- Assassin’s Creed Origins – Updated in 2022
- Assassin’s Creed Syndicate – Updated in 2024
Future Expectations
If Ubisoft follows through with plans for further upgrades, several titles could receive the 60FPS treatment, including:
- The Ezio Collection
- Assassin’s Creed III Remastered
- Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered
- Assassin’s Creed Unity
Additionally, there are strong rumors surrounding a complete remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, which may be developed separately.
