Eric Dane has two daughters, Billie and Georgia, whom he shares with his former wife, Rebecca Gayheart. Although the couple separated in 2018, they later reconciled. In an interview, Gayheart discussed how their family is coping with Dane’s illness. She described their approach as “day by day” with the support of professional therapists, emphasizing the importance of dignity and hope.

Despite canceling his physical presence at the gala, Dane participated via a pre-recorded message to accept his Advocate of the Year honor.
