Etihad Alters Frankfurt Service Starting May 2026

Etihad Airways is set to make significant changes to its Frankfurt service starting in May 2026. This adjustment coincides with the launch of a partnership with Condor, a German airline.

Service Changes Overview

As of May 1, 2026, Etihad will reduce its daily flights from two to one. The existing Boeing 787-9 operations, designated as EY123 and EY124, will be replaced by Condor’s Airbus A330-900neo.

  • Current Operation:
    • Flight EY121: AUH 02:10 – FRA 06:55 (Boeing 787-9)
    • Flight EY122: FRA 11:05 – AUH 19:20 (Boeing 787-9)
  • New Operation with Condor:
    • Flight EY1040: AUH 14:00 – FRA 18:45 (Condor A330-900neo)

Future Expansion Plans

For the Northern winter season of 2026/27, beginning on October 25, 2026, Etihad plans to resume its second daily flight. This flight will feature a new mid-morning departure from Abu Dhabi, operating as EY119 and EY120 on an Airbus A321LR.
