Square Enix Reveals Official Title for Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3
Square Enix has officially announced the title for the last installment of its highly anticipated Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy. This confirmation comes after speculation and a narrowed-down list of potential names.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 Title Revealed
As of early November 2025, the publisher had been deliberating between two possible titles, a decision awaited by fans after Paris Games Week. Game director Naoki Hamaguchi confirmed that the title has now been finalized, stating, “It was up to Mr. Nomura to decide which it is. And yes, after returning from Paris Games Week, he did choose one, so I can say the title has been locked.”
Fan Theories and Title Speculation
Initially, many fans speculated that the final chapter would be titled Final Fantasy 7 Reunion. However, the recent release of Life Is Strange: Reunion, another title published by Square Enix, may prompt the company to avoid potential confusion between the two games.
Gameplay Features and Development Progress
In addition to the title announcement, Hamaguchi shared information regarding gameplay enhancements. The popular in-game card game, Queen’s Blood, will make a return in an upgraded format. Furthermore, a snowboarding minigame is set to be included in the upcoming installment.
While Square Enix has not yet revealed a specific release date for the final part of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy, Hamaguchi mentioned that development is progressing smoothly. Notably, the title will not be exclusive to PlayStation but will ultimately be a multi-platform release.
