Bethesda is actively addressing concerns related to the recent Fallout 76 update. Released earlier this week, the update aimed to fix various issues concerning quests, localization, and equipment. However, problems emerged that required immediate attention.
Fallout 76 Weekly Raid Challenge Disabled
The Weekly Raid Challenge has been temporarily disabled. Reports indicated that the challenge was automatically completing, preventing players from obtaining rewards. Bethesda has acknowledged this issue and is investigating community feedback to compile a list of necessary fixes.
Upcoming Updates and Fixes
Bethesda plans to release an update during the first week of February to address identified issues. Key problems under review include:
- Build Menu displaying as empty due to a skin applied to the C.A.M.P. Module
- Pip-Boy’s “New” category behaving erratically
- Grunt and Head Hunts only yielding 1-Star enemies
- C.A.M.P. items bought with Gold Bullion not appearing
- Cryo status effects and damage not functioning against enemies
- Armor resistances failing to apply unless re-equipped
- Players reporting increased vulnerability during combat in the Burring Springs region
Undocumented Changes in Fallout 76
Some changes were not detailed in the release notes. Notably:
- A new 4-Star Legendary Mod named “Charged” has been introduced in the Gleaming Depths raid. This mod enhances melee weapon attacks and allows for explosive power attacks.
- The Dom Pedro weapon has received two new modifications: Reflex Sight and a Long Barrel mod, available to all weapon owners.
While the focus remains on resolving these issues, Bethesda has not yet confirmed a precise release date for the upcoming patch beyond February’s first week.

The series continues to follow characters like Lucy and Maximus as they navigate the post-apocalyptic landscape.
