Norwich City has officially secured a loan deal for Harry Amass, an 18-year-old talent from Manchester United, until the season’s end. This agreement marks the second addition for Norwich during the January transfer window, following the arrival of Canadian international Ali Ahmed from the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Competition for Amass

Norwich City has reportedly triumphed over multiple Championship clubs in their pursuit of Amass. Teams like Stoke City and Watford showed interest in the young left-back. Amass expressed his excitement about joining Norwich and noted his positive discussions with the club’s management.

Impressive Background

Harry Amass initially joined Manchester United in 2023 after starting his career at Watford. He made his first appearance in a matchday squad against Liverpool, though he didn’t play. His official debut came in April 2025 during a Premier League match against Leicester City, where he contributed to a 3-0 win.

Before his move to Norwich, Amass spent the first half of the season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday. He made a total of 22 appearances for the Owls, showcasing his potential and readiness to compete at a higher level.
