Sega has announced a surprise free demo for its eagerly awaited PS5 action-adventure game, Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties. This demo will be available starting tonight, offering players the chance to explore the game before its official release.

The demo will be accessible to all PS5 players at 9 p.m. PT / 12 a.m. ET on January 22. Unlike many other demo offerings, a PS Plus subscription will not be necessary to participate.

Gameplay Experience

Players should be aware that progress made in the demo will not carry over to the full game upon its release. Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties is slated to launch on February 12 for both the PS5 and PS4. However, a demo for the PS4 version was not announced.
