Status Report
Kiefer Sherwood recently joined the Sharks from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for multiple draft picks and a defenseman. Coach Ryan Warsofsky indicated that Sherwood will likely be integrated into the top nine forwards upon recovery.
In goal, Yaroslav Askarov is expected to start for the Sharks following Alex Nedeljkovic’s recent impressive performance, where he made 35 saves in a win against the Florida Panthers.
On the Lightning side, coach Jon Cooper reported positive updates regarding injured defensemen Victor Hedman and Ryan McDonagh, who have begun light skating. Additionally, forward Scott Sabourin is expected to return next week, adding depth to the Lightning lineup.
