Mega Evolution: Ascended Heroes
Launching on January 30, 2026, Ascended Heroes is the first English Mega Evolution expansion since the base set was released in September 2025. This set features 290 cards featuring classic Mega Pokémon, new Tera cards, Team Rocket Pokémon, and special Stadium cards.
Preorders have begun, though availability differs among retailers. Target is already sold out, while Best Buy has products marked as “Coming Soon.” Collectors can find options on platforms like TCGplayer and Walmart, although some prices exceed the standard retail price. The standard Elite Trainer Box (ETB) is available for preorder, with TCGplayer currently offering the best price at $119.
Pokémon Day 2026 Collection
Coinciding with the 30th anniversary of Pokémon on February 27, 2026, the Pokémon Day 2026 Collection will also be released on January 30. This smaller package includes a special stamped foil promo card of Pikachu, a logo-emblazoned metallic coin, and a selection of TCG booster packs. Currently, this collection can be purchased for approximately $49.99 on Amazon.
Mega Evolution: Perfect Order
The third release, Perfect Order, is slated to arrive in March 2026. This set is poised to elevate the Mega Evolution storyline, featuring cards from the Pokémon Legends: Z-A game. Among the 120-card set, fans can expect notable Mega Pokémon like Mega Zygarde ex and Mega Starmie ex.
